Iseult de Mallet Burgess

Iseult de Mallet Burgess is an Irish writer based in the UK. She is the winner of the Bryan MacMahon Short Story Competition (2025) and the Oxford-BNU Creative Writing Award (2024). She was shortlisted for the Desperate Literature Short Fiction Prize (2025). Her work appears in Eleven Stories 2025 and the Mays Anthology, among other publications.She is currently working on a collection of linked short stories and a novella.She graduated from the University of Oxford in 2024 with a First Class BA in Japanese.
